Nhi Pham
President
Nhi is a 4th year Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology major and Gerontology minor from Yucaipa, California. On campus, she currently volunteers with Vietnamese Community Health, edits for the Undergraduate Science Journal, and does endocrinology research with the Yoshihara Lab. Outside of BEI, she enjoys hiking, journaling, playing tennis and pickleball, and organizing sunset picnics/exploring LA with her friends!
Shriya Kona
Senior Outreach Director
Shriya is a 4th year Psychobiology major from Livermore, CA. On campus, Shriya is a research assistant at the Computational Social Neuroscience Lab at UCLA and a bedside volunteer at Cedars Sinai. She hopes to become a neurosurgeon in the future. Outside of BEI, she enjoys reading (romance, fantasy, and mystery) and she read 50 books last year!
Natalie Kamp
Finance Director
Natalie is a 4th year Neuroscience major and Global Health minor from Spokane, WA. On campus, she works as an undergraduate research assistant and is interested in becoming a dermatologist or reconstructive plastic surgeon in the future. Outside of BEI, she enjoys reading and playing the piano (which she's done since she was 6!)
Timilehin Asebiomo
Student Relations Co-Director
Timi is a 4th year Physiological Sciences major from Sacramento, CA. At UCLA, she's worked as a camp counselor for Camp Kesem and provided support to children impacted by a parent's cancer diagnosis. She hopes to work in pediatrics in underserved communities. Outside of BEI, she enjoys reading!
Christian Lee
Student Relations Co-Director
Christian is a 4th year Psychobiology major from Corona, CA. On campus, she is currently in a research lab studying the use of AI to close the gap for people with limited English proficiency. Outside of BEI, she is a part of Agape Christian Fellowship where she helps lead Bible studies and organize fun outings with Christians!
Akhil Rajidi
Research Director
Akhil is a 3rd year Neuroscience major from Dublin, CA. At UCLA, he is currently with the Burda Lab at Cedars Sinai studying disorders of the CNS and how glia responses impact neural repair, regeneration and recovery. He also works as an aide at a physical therapy clinic. Outside of BEI, one of his biggest hobbies is dance and he is currently on UCLA Nashaa, the competitive bollywood-fusion dance team at UCLA.
Stephanie Chang
Marketing & Media Director
Stephanie is a 2nd year Neuroscience major and Global Health minor from the Bay Area. On campus, she currently volunteers as a clinical research associate at UCLA's Ronald Reagan Hospital on code strokes in the ED, and also works as a clinical research assistant under CTSI-CSH division, investigating how AI and tech can improve study outcomes. She's also on UCLA's archery competitive archery team. Outside of BEI, she enjoys crocheting and learning new languages!
Angel Wang
Content Committee Director
Angel is a 2nd year Psychology major from both Beijing, China and Maryland. At UCLA, she works at a Pediatric dental clinic and volunteers at ICNA Relief Crescent Free Clinic and mentors FGLI students as a volunteer advisor. She also works as a research assistant within the Mind-Body Research Lab and for Professor Hengchen at UCLA's School of Management. Outside of BEI, she has a passion for arts and crafts, whether it’s beading, nail art, or crocheting. She even has her own matcha set in her dorm!
Emily Hegrenes

Emily is a 2nd year Neuroscience major from Lahaina, HI. At UCLA, she volunteers at Mattel Children's Hospital working with pediatric patients and also participates in other neuroscience organizations on campus. She loves bridging the gaps in our society between those of all ages! Outside of BEI, she enjoys swimming, exploring the outside, going to the gym, trying new activities with my friends, watching romcoms, and doing all kinds of arts and crafts!

Syon Mansur
Co-President
Syon is a 4th year Neuroscience major, Data Science Engineering minor, from San Diego, California. In his free time, you can find Syon in the lab with his rats or playing basketball at Wooden. Syon joined the BEI because he loves connecting with the older generation and am excited to continue working with the club!
Eddie Nash
Co-President
Eddie is a fourth year Human Biology and Society major from Thousand Oaks, CA. Eddie is a research assistant in the UCLA Drug Discovery Lab, ophthalmic assistant for UCLA’s Mobile Eye Clinic, and scribe at the Westminster Free Clinic. Eddie also loves to golf and run!
Aniket Das
Research Director
Aniket is a 4th yr Computational and Systems Biology major and Neuroscience minor from the SF Bay Area. Aniket is a pre-medical student who assists with clinical research at UCSF. Outside of BEI, Aniket enjoys key smashing pianos and wrestling with his dogs.
Joanna Kim
Marketing Director
Joanna is a 4th year Neuroscience major and English minor from Orange County, CA. Joanna is also part of UCLA's Stein Eye Institute and hopes to pursue a career in medicine. Outside of BEI, Joanna is part of a neuro-gastro lab at UCLA and enjoys snowboarding, reading classic literature, and experimenting with new coffee recipes.

Prarthna is a 4th year Neuroscience major. On campus, Prarthna is a research assistant at the Brain Connectivity and Cognition Lab and a Neuropharmacology lab. Outside of BEI, Prarthna enjoys traveling, backpacking, trying new foods, playing and watching soccer, F1 and animal volunteering!

Kasra is a 3rd year Psychobiology major and Biomedical Research minor from Westwood, Los Angeles. Kasra spent two years in a cognitive psychology lab and is now exploring his interests in metabolic health in an atherosclerosis lab. Outside of academics, Kasra rows crew for UCLA Men’s Rowing and is a suffering Lakers fan.
